Potawatomi Pool

Potawatomi Pool will be closed for the 2020 season. This decision was made by the guidance put forth by the Indiana State Department of Health, Governor Holcomb and the CDC guidelines regarding the opening of public pools. This follows suit with what Indiana State Parks and several other regional parks agencies are doing in regards to pools. We appreciate everyone’s understanding during these times. We encourage the community to take advantage of our splash pads and Kennedy Water Playground when they open.

Located within Potawatomi Park next to Kids Kingdom, the Potawatomi Pool is a place for the whole family to enjoy during the warm summer months. Potawatomi Pool has a wading pool with spray feature, a main pool with a 35 foot slide and diving well. The wading pool is a low depth area where toys may be used. And for the little ones, a mushroom spray feature.

The main pool’s water slide is open to everyone 50″ or taller. Anyone under 50″ MUST pass the swim test that is administered by the lifeguards during breaks. The main pool is open to adults (18 and older) during breaks. There are NO toys or flotation devices of any kind allowed in the main pool or diving well. U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed in the main pool. The separate diving well with a diving board and two small slides is open to everyone who passes the swim test. There are locker rooms and a concession stand with a fenced in picnic area.
