Youth Tennis Lessons

Leeper Tennis Center is committed to instilling the love of tennis in our area youth! Our lessons are taught by qualified, specially trained instructors who’s goal is for each child to leave with a life long love of tennis. Participants are welcome to register for as many weeks of lessons as they like. Participants attending four or more weeks will receive a special medal and certificate.

Pee Wee Tennis for ages 3-4: Youth size rackets and nets are used with foam balls to encourage success. These lessons focus on developing large motor skills and eye-hand coordination with games and activities geared to teach beginning form and technique.

Little Shots for ages 5-8: Age appropriate rackets and nets as well as low compression balls on smaller courts are used with this age group to encourage rallying and success! These lessons will focus on developing large motor skills, increased eye-hand coordination, development of technique, proper form and positioning.

Beginners/Advanced Beginners for ages 9-12: Basics of tennis are taught, from ground strokes and volleys to scoring and serves. Green stage balls will be used for better stroke production and play.

Intermediate for ages 12-17: Great for all skill levels! Players will learn the basic fundamentals with the goal for players to hold a rally, match play and learning how to keep score. Basics are covered with a focus on technique development.
