Glaciation Tour of St. Joseph County: Fall Edition

We’ll be touring the county to view and learn about its glacial land features! Most of us have passed by these features hundreds of times and have never known the fascinating story behind their origins.
– why does the St. Joseph River flow south to north?
-Why are Rum Village Park and Dragoon Trail so hilly?
– Why is there a great vista on SR 2 looking towards Bendix Woods?
These questions and more will be answered in this two-hour tour. We’ll start at Rum Village Auditorium and make our way around the county in a Royal Excursion bus. Bring your own beverages and snacks! Cost is $15/person. To register, please call 574-235-9455 or email Garry Harrington at gharring@southbendin.gov by October 24. Spots are limited.
