Martin Luther King, Jr. Center Senior Programs

Along with many programs and special events, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center is proud to service the seniors of the community. These events and programs cater directly to the needs of South Bend senior citizens, via fellowship, recreation activities, exercise, special events and trips.

Programming

55+ Chair Exercise Class

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:30am – 11:30pm

A fitness class that provides an opportunity to get moving while gathering with others in the senior community. A line dancing component is offered as an option at the end of class.

Senior Social Activities

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 11:00am – 4:00pm

Bingo with the Senior Women’s Club; Spades & King’s Corners; Dominoes, Yahtzee & Trivia; Jigsaw Puzzles; Arts & Crafts such as quilting, scrapbooking, painting, adult coloring, floral arrangements and other fun projects.

Seniors 55+ who are looking to be on the move and looking for a social environment for the day are welcome to join us!  Trips and other special events are also planned. Contact Stefanie Coleman at 574-235-7650 for more information.
