Join us on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5–7 PM at the Howard Park Event Room for the South Bend Sneaker Art Competition, a creative showdown for middle and high school students from South Bend Community Schools. Participants will have one hour to transform a high-top canvas sneaker using materials provided by Venues, Parks & Arts.
Top five winners from each age group will earn a trip to the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis on August 16, 2025, where they’ll represent South Bend in a statewide art competition against students from Evansville and Indianapolis. Travel, fair admission, and food vouchers for each winner and one guardian or teacher are included.
Only 40 entries per group will be accepted. Applications are available here on the VPA website or through your school’s art teacher and must be submitted by May 30, 2025 with required signatures.
