Last year, the City of South Bend’s golf courses were able to give away over 700 youth memberships and 2,500 rounds of golf for free. That’s thousands of opportunities for us to engage the young people of our community in a unique way. At the City of South Bend, we understand that introducing kids to the sport of golf provides them with more than just a way to get active. It teaches life skills like honesty, hard work, patience, focus, and much more. We strive to further expand our reach through programs like this every year, touching more and more young people with these important lessons.
