The City of South Bend has a goal of reaching 40% tree canopy coverage. By supporting the Tree Canopy Coverage Fund through VPA’s Forestry Department, you’ll help us purchase trees to plant at locations with insufficient tree coverage. Learn more about South Bend’s Urban Tree Canopy here.
The City of South Bend will match donations to increase South Bend’s tree canopy coverage dollar for dollar up to $50,000, particularly in areas of the community that have insufficient tree canopy coverage.
