Being a certified lifeguard opens doors to many other job opportunities! This Fall Venues, Parks & Arts is partnering with the Red Cross to offer both New Lifeguard Certification courses and Lifeguard Recertification courses. Both New Lifeguard and Lifeguard Recertification courses will be “Blended” courses that offer online and in-person training. The online portion of the training is done remotely and must be completed prior to the certification course’s start date and the in-person training will take place at Riley High School Pool. All registered participants will need to bring proof of completion for their online course to your first day of in-person class. You will recieve the log in to the online course after you have completed the prerequisits. Participants who pass their classes will earn an American Red Cross Lifeguard certification.
