Accepting Applications from April 13th – April 29th
Join us on May 1st, 2026, as part of DTSB First Fridays for the 3rd South Bend Sole Art Competition, a creative showdown for middle and high school students. Participants will have one hour to transform a high-top canvas sneaker using materials provided by Venues, Parks & Arts.
The top 5 winners from each category will earn an art inspired experience for themselves, and 1 guardian. Travel, experience and food vouchers for each winner and one guardian or teacher will be provided.
Only 20 entries per group will be accepted. Applications are available on the VPA website or through your school’s art teacher and must be submitted by April 29, 2026, with required signatures. Let your creativity hit the canvas—of a sneaker!
