Kennedy Park, located at the corner of Olive St. and Westmoor St., includes the Kennedy Water Playground, a public restroom, walking trails, baseball diamond, basketball courts, playground and open play areas. Kennedy Park has long been a cornerstone of South Bend’s west side, serving as a hub for recreation, connection, and community pride. Now, exciting improvements are on the way. Funded in part by a grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Kennedy Park will soon feature a brand-new aquatics facility, updated basketball and tennis courts, an improved playground, and enhanced green spaces designed for all ages to enjoy.
