Come celebrate with us as we join cities and partners across the country in celebrating Kids To Parks Day, a national day of outdoor play! We want to encourage kids (and families) to get active and connected with nature in our community and green spaces.
Trust us, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to GET OUTSIDE AND PLAY! We’ll be taking over both Potawatomi Park AND Kennedy Park for three, family-fun-packed hours filled with field games and activities, music and live entertainment, and plenty of information and community resources.
Kids to Parks Day is an initiative of the National Park Trust, designed to connect kids and families with their local, state, and national parks. Each year, approximately 1 million families get outside to enjoy their local parks through KTP Day events at over 1,200+ locations. For more information on National Kids to Parks Day visit kidstoparks.org.
Activities are geared towards ages 3 – 12 but all are welcome to get outside and play!
