Arbor Day

A group of people planting a tree together

Another year, another Arbor Day event to celebrate trees and all they do for our community! Both days will take place rain or shine.

Celebrate South Bend becoming a Tree City USA for the 28th year and earning the Tree Growth Award for the 3rd year! The City of South Bend and Venues Parks & Arts Forestry Crew is proud to be able to offer the community two Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway events this year. Both events will begin at 9:30am and end at 11:30am. Through the sponsorship of the AEP Foundation, we will be giving away 200 non-invasive trees.
